Apple covered a lot of things at it's Keynote 2 weeks ago....so let's get started.
First off, on the 28th, Apple finally started taking steps away from ATT it seems. The iPad is now available at over 2000 Verizon Stores across the United States! The Verizon Stores offer all 3 bundles, including: $629.99 for a 16GB iPad with Wi-Fi and MiFi, $729.99 for a 32GB iPad with Wi-Fi and MiFi, and $829.99 for a 64GB iPad with Wi-Fi and MiFi.
Also at the last Keynote, Jobs released the new version of the Macbook Air. Personally I don't like this type of computer because it doesn't support anything you want to do graphic's wise, but that's my opinion. People are saying that is exactly like the iPad, which Apple features as a good thing, but that's if you want to check your e-mail and watch youtube videos (NOT AT 720P!!! THE GRAPHICS CANT SUPPORT THAT!)
Another great feature released at the Keynote was Mac OS Lion. Shipping next summer, Lion is inspired by many of iPad’s software innovations. Features include the Mac App Store, a new way to discover, install, and automatically update desktop apps; Launchpad, a new home for all of your Mac apps; system-wide support for full-screen apps; and Mission Control, which unifies Exposé, Dashboard, Spaces, and full-screen apps into an innovative new view of everything running on your Mac, allowing you to instantly navigate anywhere.
What do you think? Do YOU think Mac OS Lion is going to be awesome? Do you like Apple's move to Verizon? Please tell me in the comments!
thats cool. i have an iphone 4 on AT&T and im glad verizon lovers can enjoy what i love about my phone, except with slightly better reception lol.
ReplyDeleteha! nice! ... but expensive.
ReplyDeleteI dont like Apple lol =D But I might try this out!
ReplyDeletewas a obvious next step, im looking forward to next years Iphone me thinks :D
ReplyDeleteCool but too high costs
ReplyDeletenew apple stuff every week lol nice review
ReplyDeleteI will never buy anything from apple
ReplyDeleteAbout time they backed away from AT&T
ReplyDeleteCrickey, not bought anything from apple yet, and probably for the best, becomes redundant in like a week!
ReplyDeleteAlthough it's Apple, I think the iPad isn't such a bad thing. It seems pretty unique. Good Write up
ReplyDeletei dont like the ipad i prefer my laptop
ReplyDeleteI feel like if I had a Ipad I would brake it, Its like those full screen phones, they always crack.
ReplyDeletethis is great, i can't wait to have an iphone without the bad service of at&t
ReplyDeleteI know some people this will make happy.
ReplyDeleteCool but very expansive !
ReplyDeletean interesting read
ReplyDeletei want one!!!!:)
ReplyDeletelooks dope, prob expensive as fuck tho
ReplyDeleteAlways great stuff at Apple's, just so expensive :(
ReplyDeleteerr.. how many versions of that thing are out there already? Aren't there enough?
ReplyDeleteIf only AT&T starts working on their service.
ReplyDeleteYeah, too expensive.
ReplyDeleteamazing device
ReplyDeleteDon't live in the US, but nice post!
ReplyDeleteI personally hate apple, I just think its a bunch of over priced bullshit. and they should have just stuck with AT&T
ReplyDeletethis is good news... I'll be waiting for the second generation iPad
ReplyDeleteGreat step forward from apple. There is alot of bad with it but i still love apple products.
ReplyDeleteLion sounds like its going to be sweet
ReplyDeleteGreat post, bro!
ReplyDeletenice, it's good that people get a choice
ReplyDeleteyeah, people are entitled to a choice
ReplyDeleteI agree with Swift Love
ReplyDeleteCost is quite high... I don't know, I always had AT&T anyway, and I don't plan on switching. And I also don't think my Mac could run the new OS... And theres no way I could afford a new one!!!!
ReplyDeletefinally! now if only it cost less
ReplyDeleteover-priced
ReplyDeleteI showed this to my buddy and he thought it was over-priced too.
ReplyDeleteyeah apple tends to do that. annoying, but you are paying for beauty. its like upperclassmen software, that all the rich people brag to their frriends about heehe. :)
ReplyDeleteit might look "upperclass" but with all honesty, you're better off getting an HP or Dell Tablet. The iPad has a quarter of the functions, for 2 times the price.
ReplyDeleteOne product you should definitely keep your eye out for is the Notion Ink Adam. Its like the iPad but so much more useful, with a sleeker design too. you'd love it! :)
